The 5 Benefits of Strength Training for everyone!

Strength training is great for everyone! Strength training is based on the principle that muscles need to work to overcome resistance. When you do it repeatedly, your muscles will work hard and grow. After a period of time, it becomes stronger. Putting it in a simple term, it is the activities we do every day. From walking, carrying our books, lifting boxes from the ground, pulling out our drawer and pushing it back in and from standing up and sitting down from a chair. The only thing we need to do is more repetition and add loads while doing the activity.

For example, lifting the box from the ground is similar to a deadlift exercise. When you need to stand up and sit, is very similar to a squat exercise. This shows that we have been doing the resistance exercise with very lightweight, or should I say body weight. All we need to do is to add resistance which allows our muscle grow.

What is my favourite training shirt? #ModernVision #ApparelReview

The Navy Blue Impact Line series designed by Modern Vision is one of my favourite workout shirts.  It has the cool MV logo printed beautifully on the shirt.  I used it for running, lifting and obstacle specific training. Sometimes, I like to use it for a casual activity. The Dry-Tech fabric provides such a comfort and is suitable for use in a hot weather in Malaysia.

Hello! If you follow me on my Instagram, I have been using the Spartan Race Fit Four Glove for my training. Especially when comes to obstacles specific training.

So why Fit Four?

Just look at my palm below. I got calluses, and it was ripped off. OUCH!! This is after 4 out of 8 sets of obstacles specific training like the monkey bar. THERE IS NO FAILURE, THERE IS ONLY BURPEE!!

The BURPEE is the bread and butter for every Spartan Racer! Every time the Spartans failed an obstacle, they are required to do 30 burpees! If not, they are disqualified from the race! So, if you want to join the Spartan Race, you need to be burpee proof!
